DIY Lion LLC is a veteran-owned (SDVOSB) remote marketplace platform headquartered in Pearland, Texas. We connect homeowners with licensed, verified trade professionals who deliver custom DIY project plans. Our team is fully distributed — with members across the US and offshore locations.

Our Mission: To make professional expertise accessible to every homeowner — empowering people to take on projects with confidence, skill, and the right guidance.

How We Work

DIY Lion is a fully remote, async-first company. There is no physical office. All work happens digitally — meetings via video call, communication via message, and deliverables via shared cloud tools.

Working Hours

We don't enforce fixed 9–5 hours. You manage your own schedule — what matters is that deliverables are met and you're reachable during core hours for coordination.

Overtime is not expected or encouraged. If your workload consistently exceeds agreed hours — raise it. Sustainable pace is a core value at DIY Lion.

DIY Lion operates with a lean, flat structure. Most team members report directly to the Founder/CEO. We are committed to a respectful, inclusive working environment for everyone — employees, contractors, and platform professionals.

Compensation & Payment

Payment terms vary by role. Platform professionals (Verified Pros) are paid within 24 hours of plan delivery confirmation via Stripe Express. Contractors are paid per deliverable within 5 business days of approval.

For Platform Professionals

Verified Pros on the DIY Lion platform are independent contractors — not employees of DIY Lion LLC. You maintain your own credentials, taxes, and benefits. In return, you keep 80–92% of every plan you deliver.

Standard plans within 72 hours. Guided Build within 5 business days. Every plan includes materials list, tool list, and local code callout.

Client Communication
Respond to follow-up questions within 24 hours. Professional and respectful at all times.
🎓
Credentials
Active trade license and E&O insurance required at all times. Notify us immediately if credentials expire.
💰
Bidding
Honest bids only. Counter-offers must include a brief explanation. Accepted bids are binding.
